I have more than 15 years of teaching experience and have a degree, two masters and Ph.D. in Anglo-American literature, literature in English, languages, and civilisations. I can tutor literature to 'A' level and beyond, languages (English-French-Italian-Arabic) and civilization (history-politics-religious studies) to 'A' level. I have taught at university and high schools. I have given tuition to individuals and small groups of students at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels and offer friendly, relaxed lessons individually, or in groups of up to 8 people, tailored exactly to what the pupil requires. I have my DBS checks on the update system and I am working on daily supply as a cover teacher of English and humanities. Regarding primary and secondary schools, I have given private tuition to many pupils with excellent results. I always have the highest expectations of pupils and always have had. To me learning is "child centred"; this is an approach I have found to pay rich dividends in terms of a pupil's academic and personal development.
