Hello, my name is Raffy and I am a native English speaker. I have been teaching for more than ten years and I enjoy this profession and take great pride in getting even those who have the least interest in English, my passion and powerful motivation motivates students of all ages interest in my personal unique teaching strategies.Having lived in various foreign countries and having to adapt to a new language and culture myself. I understand fully the challenges involved in learning a new language. • My qualifications include a Master’s (MA) in Educational and Developmental Psychology. Bachelor Degree in Psychology, a CELTA Cambridge English Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), and Certificate in (TKT) Teaching Knowledge Test Language and background to language learning and teaching, as well as further Certificate for Teachers of business English having been examined by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examination Board. I love teaching languages, and the most important part of my role, I believe, is to establish a comfort zone for my students so they feel good and not intimidated about learning a new language. Encouragement, positive reinforcement, gentle nudging are part of my approach. Language learning should be fun and satisfying for the learner. My approach to teaching is based on 360° perspective and certainly highly personalise base on the needs of the learners. I believe that we all learn the best when we feel relaxed and are enjoying ourselves, I aim to make my lessons stress free, interesting and productive. Everyone is different and so I believe each lesson should be tailored to the needs and objectives of the individual students. I genuinely enjoy the process and work hard to provide the materials and activities that will help you achieve your goals and have fun along way. I look forward to meeting you.
